Tacos & Trust

Tacos & Trust

July 31, 11:30am- 1pm

Why does TRUST matter?

Trust is the most powerful currency in business. And trust and ethical behavior go hand in hand.

As business leaders we are responsible for setting the tone for our companies, through character, communications and business practices. Leading with strong character ethics is not just a matter of style or personal preference - it is good business.

Join us on Tuesday July 31 for a lunch and learn session, Tacos & Trust.  Kip Morse from the Better Business Bureau of Central Ohio will cover the framework and tools any organization can use to begin building TRUST! from the inside out.

Visit for details and registration.  Lunch is included with your registration.  Email questions to

Then after this session, stay for an afternoon of open coworking instead of rushing back to your office. Registration for PlugnPlay open coworking is available at

NAWBO Success Story - Dyetology

A great success story from NAWBO Member, Jackie Ayres

I’m a NAWBO member and my business has been featured this month in some media outlets and wanted to share!

- City Scene: Featured in City Scene in their Emerging Artists Feature for the Columbus Arts Festival. The Columbus Arts Festival is one of the largest attended art festivals nationally with 500k people attending during the festival. Article link here:’s-columbus-arts-festival/

- Columbus Monthly: Article on our sock mission, Socks For Hope. For every pair purchased, Dyetology donates a pair of socks to a local homeless shelter.  Socks are the most needed clothing item at homeless shelters.Article link here:

- Kindled Podcast: Making your passion your full-time gig, from fashion designer to full time entrepreneur at age 40. I was able to share my journey of leaving my corporate design career of 17 years to focus on my business full time. Link to Podcast:

I also wanted to note all of this was made possible after I worked with Meredith Liepelt (NAWBO member). I attended the NAWBO event in Jan 2018, Good to Great and sat at her table. I then did a VIP day with her to focus on media opportunities.  I learned all the necessary tools on how to pitch to various media outlets, how to follow up, what they are looking for. Meredith is amazing!!  My first media experience after working with Meredith was on Good Day Columbus back in March where I got to share with them some of new Dyetology Spring items and share our sock mission!
